The recent CDC shows that 74% of new cases of HIV are spread by people who don't know they have the virus—because they haven't been tested.

This campaign aims to enlist 1 million people to donate just one dollar a month. Your monthly contribution will total $12 million in a year so that our communities will then have more of the much needed resources to stop the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

WE NEED MILLIONS TO COVER THE COST FOR TEST KITS—and MILLIONS more to pay for promotion and professional testers and pre and post-test counseling. GOVERNMENT FUNDING IS NOT ENOUGH.

A testing kit costs $13—compare the cost of testing to the cost of treatment. Providing testing to those who don't know their status is a major factor in reducing the spead of HIV/AIDS. That old saying is true, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

Because the Let's Talk, Let's Test Foundation recognizes that there is no cure or preventive vaccine for HIV/AIDS, we are committed to making information about HIV prevention and services more readily available to those in our communities.
